Fire Destroys Building in Mutant Enclave

Fire has destroyed a book store in the New York area known as "District X" overnight. It is believed the fire broke out some time in the early hours of this morning. No-one was injured, but the building was completely destroyed.

Locals claim the incident was the result of an increase in anti-mutant feeling since November 2016. Anti-mutant graffiti was found near the site of the fire. Marjorie and Mark Mulrooney, owners of the store, are both mutants. NYFD and the NYPD are investigating
