Police remain baffled following District X incident

In a press conference today, the Chief of New York's police admitted they have no leads as to who was behind the attack on the area known as District X on May 23.

"While we have conducted a thorough investigation of the scene, there are few clues as to the identity of the individual responsible for the damage," he stated, reading from a prepared statement. "The case will remain open, and the NYPD ask for any witnesses to come forward with any information."

In the meantime, repair work continues in District X, where there was significant property damage caused when the unknown perpetrator, described by some as "some kind of Viking" went on his rampage. Local mutants are credited with the lack of casualties.

Anyone with information regarding the incident can contact the NYPD hotline.

Cordova Local News: Mutant Fisherman Destroys Boat, Almost Drowns Crew

Cordova, Alaska: Eye witness accounts have been released following the sinking of a fishing vessel in Alaska yesterday. While the crew were rescued, they claim that none other than the captain of the boat, one Raymond Goud, was responsible for their brush with death.

"We knew he was a mutie," says one crew member, who asked that he not be identified for his own safety. "But we thought he was harmless. Turns out he was hiding something. Then again, what can you expect from one of these people?"

Other witnesses claim that the incident occurred after a large box was hauled on board in the fishing nets, however no such item was recovered from the wreckage of the boat.

Raymond Goud vanished during the incident and he is presumed to have drowned during the attack.
