To: Rogue From: Marko, Cain Subject: Identity v. Name
I think I get where you're coming from. Can't say I understand what it's like to have someone else's thoughts in your head, and I'd be lying if I said I ever wanted to. Pete tells me a fake ID wouldn't do any good anyway.
About the Erik Lensherr/Magneto thing - the guy may have been born with one name, but he IS Magneto. It's who he chose to be, it's the person he is. Your boy Logan may have a name all his own, but he's the Wolverine through and through when it comes down to it. Does it change who he is? Nah, it just describes it a little better.
It's like you calling yourself Rogue. Doesn't change who you are, just describes it a little better. And if you want to call yourself Summers, knock yourself out. Alex is one tough little bastard, going through what he did. Suppose that's pretty admirable.
