What I'm missing is respect. Any time I try anything to help someone out that isn't a purely mechanical solution, I'm told to just shut up and get back in the lab. For all that people seem to harp about "you're more than just what you can do" - they sure don't act like it at times.

Maybe I'm overstressing about this. I know I'm on edge right now and probably not thinking clearly. Hell with trying to figure it out, I'll be in the garage. At least there I can figure things out.
