I know you've been meeting several people in the Underground, but next week I'll be going to visit a few families to see about the schooling of the kids. Delivering materials, checking on their work and maybe doing a little tutoring. I was wondering if you'd like to come along and see what we've been doing in that regard.

Sooraya,

I'd love to tag along on your visit. Is it just schoolwork that the children are getting assistance with now? I have been in touch with several people, but I'm not nearly familiar enough with things to know details like that, yet. I ask only because if that's the case, it might be wise to begin brainstorming for some sort of one-on-one tutoring for powers. I learned the majority of what I know how to do from people passing through the Underground in Ireland.

I focus mostly on the schooling side of things, but when possible we also provide powers training. It varies a little how we set it up, depending on the ability, the student and who we have available.

That said, you have some experience training with various powers?

So far as powers training is concerned, I've always dealt mostly with my own and things that would be effected by them. So sound manipulation, that sort of thing. I'm familiar with teaching techniques for other acoustikinetics, but I've also helped train those who are sensitive to sound in an effort to tune it out or get them accustomed to the noise so they don't have a powers incident while in public. I'm sure there are other applications I've not thought of or been introduced to. I'm always happy to help and learn, whichever the case may be.

We need to sit and chat then. One of the projects I'm working on is a powers training manual for people who don't have access to facilities like Xavier's. I'm always looking for good basic exercises to include.
