Clea and I are going to Chicago. We don't trust the sort of people who volunteer to transcribe 17th century spell books, especially when there's a good chance that it's an actual book with power. Thanks to Topaz for the heads up.

Sure, they're mostly phD students but have you ever met a pdD student? And it's been advertised online, so we're getting whispers that the usual suspects and magic chasers are coming out of the woodwork, too. And some of them can do some real damage.

We'll take two of the stock IDs for the flights so because there's a couple there that need exercising and some travel will make them look realer and a couple of spares.

And I'm still on the fence re: just burning the book or sticking it in a warded bag and giving it to the rest of the magic people because I hate messing with magic even more than I hate reality warpers and telepaths.
