A trio of gifts
Left in small gift bags stuffed with tissue paper (she can't wrap, shh) and hung from each of their doors:
A bag of cotton candy from Coney Island and a snowglobe of a NYC skyline, complete with a small LED light that you can turn on and off with a small switch underneath it, and a Christmas card containing a letter.
"I ain't much for words or holidays, since I usually don't stay put long enough to celebrate such things, but I wanted to say Merry Christmas, Alani. Love, Inez xoxo"
A large variety of Japanese flavoured Kit-Kat bars and a blank greeting card with a beautiful picture of Tokyo on its front, containing a letter.
"Here's hopin' we can do this again some time, or maybe somewhere new, I don't care as long as you're with me. Merry Christmas, Clare Bear. Love, Inez xoxo"
A black Stetson cowboy hat with a shibari rope set tucked inside of it and a box of chocolate covered strawberries, along with a Christmas card and a letter.
"You let me show you some ropin', so I figured the least I can do is gift you the change to return the favor, which I'll do my best to make into a gift for us both. Merry Christmas, dearest Darcy. Love, Inez xoxo"
