Okay, you've officially joined the ranks of "folks who stump me" with how your mutant power works. Between you, Paige, and Mr. Rasputin - the laws of subatomic physics can pretty much be tossed out the window. Either you're generating protons and neutrons from some unknown source and disposing of them just as easily, or everything we know about atomic structure is wrong. I'm leaning towards the former.

I did some checking, and that lead tree from the park was carted off to a hazardous waste dump. Made a few calls, and it's still there - I'll bet it's still lead straight through to the core. That means we've got a pretty good idea that changes you make to an object are permanent. No sign of breakdown or molecular instability.

When you have the time, I'd like to try a few new ideas - bring a chemistry book.
