Charles approves of the idea, if Scott will accept it. Charles is being very mild and quietly receptive of my concerns, which means he's deeply worried. Which is . . . not good.

Scott . . . I don't know. I have a sinking feeling the only thing that will make him slow down is to actually snap. And I honestly don't know if that would be a bad thing anymore.
