Marie passed along your question about the mansion's newest guest. To be succinct, Mr. Maximoff was not a committed member of the Brotherhood, but has in fact been working against his father's interests from the inside for a number of years. The reason he's here is that he has, from time to time, helped us enormously by passing along information that's allowed us to avert unfortunate events or help people in need of help, and this school and a number of people in it owe him a great deal.

I'm going to ask you to be discreet about this. That does not mean that I'm asking you to keep the information from anyone, simply that I would prefer not to see you initiate a discussion about the matter on the open journals. Mr. Maximoff has been through a great deal in the last few months and I think we should be allowing him some time to rest and recover prior to putting him into a situation where he might find himself having to decide whether or not to answer questions from the students.
