Sarah,

Emma's invited me to.. quite the party. One of Selene's, actually, but it's more of a formal club function.. see, this nice shiny invitation of mine has a plus-one on it, and if you think you could survive me in a nice suit for a night.. want to go?

My father will be there. We can mock him from afar. It'll be fun, I promise. And really, I'd just.. like to have you there for this. For that matter, Emma perked when I mentioned I'd be inviting you, and was quite insistant that I somehow bribe you into it.

It's on the 29th (don't you love Leap Years?), so just let me know. Shopping might be in order, but we can get me something to make up for making you dress up. Hell if I know what yet, but, we'll think of something.

Um. Formal. Formal Hellfire Club Function. Me, at a Formal Hellfire Club Function. Are you out of your mind?!? As much as mocking your father sounds like fun, there has to be an easier way than dragging me to something I'm not going to belong at, by any stretch of the imagination.
