He came to see me to talk about what X-Corps does. It got into talking about how bad things really can be for mutants out there. I think his dad had been shielding him from it, so he didn't know. He didn't take it so well.

Physically fine, he went into his wood form before he did it and his fingers seemed to be moving fine afterwards. But there's something going on there.

Yeah...I'll keep an eye out and try talking to him, but I'm not sure how much good it'll do...
