Okay. Well, where would you want to go? Should we stay close to home? Or get as far out of the range of human communication as possible?

You have a preference for the climate? Snow or heat or something more temperate?

Oh, geez, no heat please. I hate sweating unless it's for a reason.

You know I think that makes you the absolute opposite of just about everyone else I know who flocks to the heat.

Well, sports are one of the pretty good reasons to sweat.

Heat's not good for computers. I'd rather freeze. Besides, there's something just nice about being cold and coming inside, then cuddling up where it's warm. I like that feeling.

I can see the benefit of that, plus there's something special about mountains and a snow covered landscape. But I've got family in Alaska so I think something in the blood might be biasing me there.

How about the mountains somewhere? Far away from the mansion for us to make the most of a break?

There's always the Catskills. Or were you thinking further?

I was thinking the Adirondacks if we wanted to stay in New York, but the Catskills look good. Far enough away that we should be able to vanish and relax, close enough we don't have to spend a lot of time on the journey.

Out of state I've heard pretty good things about Utah and Colorado, though that might need a little flight.
