Mme Colbert,
I have visited your acquaintance at the morgue twice. While the sights were occasionally gruesome, I do not find myself turned away from the path I have in mind. I want to learn what you can teach me.
How would you like to start?
Cordialement,
Hope Abbott

If they were only occasionally gruesome I should have to tell my friend he was not trying enough to find the worst cases of overdose or pharmaceutical malpractice.
I lie - he said he was rather impressed with your fortitude and grace under pressure, despite the challenging sights... and smells.
I think there are two topics I would like to discuss with you - and both perhaps over brunch? If my guess is correct regarding your visits to my colleague, you either avoided meals or like I did, had to visit the ladies' to void your stomach, so I owe you at least one meal.
Regards,

Ms. Colbert,
A brunch sounds delightful. Is there anything you would like me to look into or read before we meet to prepare?
Regards,
