Okay well there's no particular reason except that 10 years ago my boyfriend and half my friends died and look who they've been replaced with lately.

Yeah.

I'd love to say I'm usually more aware than this, but my preferred coping mechanism is to blot out large sections of time so I can enjoy the somatic and emotional effects of my post traumatic stress without any of the insight.

Well, I'm here if you want to talk. Personally I would just as soon not actually rehash that, but getting drunk looks less like substance abuse when you're doing it in someone else's vicinity.

Because my experience time is so fucked up, I tend to be more aware of the actual calendar. A stupid side effect.

Not much to say, just my tolerance for bullshit and capers is not particularly high right now, and I think some of these people need to be socialized to others.

But I'm always game for a drink.

In some cases I would agree with that, through no fault of their own. It's a process.

A very long process.

It wouldn't hurt to be somewhere other than work or my suite at least once this month. If you've got a place in mind let me know. Mostly because I intend to get blitzed, and it probably shouldn't be on the porch.
