So...not to sound strange, but have you noticed anything unusual with Amanda lately? As in...well, she just seemed to be doing more magic than usual at pizza night tonight. Little things, but she didn't really seem to be giving it a second thought like she used to. This is probably a silly email, but hey, it's also an excuse to say hello since I've seen your girlfriend more recently than I've seen you (long story).

...now I'm picturing you, Amanda, and Angie getting together to compare notes on me. A lesser man than me would quake in his boots at the thought.
Okay, I lie, I'm quaking. But anyways.
Yeah, she's been doing little things a lot more casually that I've noticed. I asked her about it, she said something about New Orleans, and I promptly dropped the issue. So hm. I dunno. I'll keep an eye out, though. I remember what happened the last time she started using a lot of magic, don't worry.
