Email to Shinobi from Domino

Hey, Shinobi... don't mind if I call you Shinobi, do you? I have this ingrained habit of spitting every time I hear your last name, so.

I'm Dom... Domino. (And no, I don't have a real name, although you can have your pick of my aliases if you want.) I'm assuming Nate's mentioned me to you, given the fact that I'm writing to you now to tell you that yes, I've stolen your car. Flew over to London yesterday and did it. Much fun. But your old man's slipping, I have to say. Those security systems were child's play.

Anyhow, the car is being shipped and should be coming into New York sometime next week. Called in a favor with a friend, so you don't owe me a cent. (Now, didn't that work out just beautifully?) The shipping company will call and let you know where you can pick it up.

I should be in New York myself this weekend, if all goes well. Would love to meet you, if you're around.

Domino

PS: I would tell you what I spray-painted on the garage wall before I left, but Nate keeps telling me I need to watch my language if I want to make good first impressions.

Don't mind the first-name basis at all. Up until very recently, I had a tendency to feel a bit sick at my last name, too. No worries.

Sorry the old bastard didn't give you more of a challenge, Domino. Though, from what I gather, giving you a challenge would be a bit of a challenge in and of itself. (Okay, that sounded retarded. I need to stop replying to emails after midnight.) I'll see what I can do about finding you something a little more fun, if you like, though I'm distressingly short on ideas. I'll brainstorm.

Don't be ridiculous. Of course I'd like to meet the person I have to thank for getting my car back, and making the old man look like a completely unprotected schmuck in the process. Just let me know when you get here, and I'll make myself available. You know, you and my girlfriend would probably get along.

PS: Telling me would make an even better first impression, as far as I'm concerned. I want to be able to imagine how scandalized he looked.

Domino,

Well, hell, if the time ever comes where I've exhausted all my options, dad's still being a righteous twit, and the one person I'd need permission from gives me the green light, we'll see if making the old man shut his trap permanently might work. It would definitely be a challenge. Purely a hypothetical, at the moment, though, so neither of us should get our hopes up. Unfortunately.

My Saturday night is spoken for, but I should be free other than that, I think. As for Nate, I won't breathe a word of it to him, if you promise I can see his face when you show up.

Ta. I'm very fond of it.

PS: Oh, nice. You and my girlfriend would definitely get along. That's it, you're having dinner with us at some point during your stay. I may be encouraging the end of the world by suggesting it, but at least it'd be a fun apocalypse.
