I just had a routine check up with Haroun, and he was acting strangely. More than usual. The disassociatation's getting worse - he's actually referring to himself as 'Haroun' or 'Jetstream', depending on whether he means the 'meat' (his term, not mine, I hate it) or the machine. And he was in a foul mood, fouller than normal. The notes on his file say this month's always a bad one for him, even if there's no details why. But I think keeping an eye on him would be a good thing - Charles, if it's all right, can I stop by and chat this evening? There's something bugging me about all this, something from the FBI days. I'll even bring cookies to go with the Earl Grey.

Come by and watch a movie or something with me? I've been going through the FBI databases until my eyes are all swimmy, and now all I want to do is curl up and relax, and you're good for both.
