We're off to hit the Mali camp this week. Shouldn't be more than three-four days, but I wanted to let you know so that you didn't wonder where we were if you tried to get in touch with us.

Wish us luck? This one's liable to be tough, but Mac's pulling strings for all he's worth to try and get them to draw down the troops in the area. Then again, you do keep telling me that I have enough mutantpower these days to overthrow small countries...

Anyway. Preparations all made - we're not heading out until first light, and I should take the opportunity to go get David drunk tonight. Mina's informed him that he's never touching her again, and he's a little morose.

The email would be a good idea (although she is coming with the rest of us - we couldn't talk her out of it.) The domestic disturbance is very jarring. What is life without David and Mina cooing at each other over every meal, after all?
