Hey there, o medical genius types,
Thought I'd drop you a line, let you know a) I got to London okay and b) something... odd is going on. Nothing bad, but I figured I ought to keep you posted given you're the ones that pulled my stubborn head of out my arse about my powers. Remember how I was saying it felt like the amount of power I could take in was dropping when I was at Muir? Well, soon as I hit London, guess what happened? Headrush, same as when I let go up on the roof garden, not quite so strong though. London's got power to spare for me - I've got some vague ideas about why, but I'm still working on it - and I'm having to leech off a bit more often than I was back on Muir. Every couple of days now.
The thing is... it doesn't feel wrong. Not like that other power source I got hooked on back when I first got to the school. This source seems more, I dunno, natural? Like it's what I'm supposed to be doing. At any rate, I'm feeling fine, no headaches, no twitchiness like I used to get when I was overcharged, bleeding off's going fine, so unless things change, I think I'll be okay. I let Pete know about what was going on and he's keeping an eye on me too. Just wanted to give you a head's up in case I needed a quick trip back to the clinic or anything.
Otherwise things are going well - boring, even, since I'm going through paperwork. I hope things are going okay for both of you. I'll be in touch.
