Okay, this is completely unfair. When is the 'Bird gonna be back here again? I didn't want to come home yet, damn it!

And waking up in my own bed when I fell asleep on the 'Bird is one of the most disorienting things I've ever experienced. Don't ever do that to me again.

There's always more to do. Literally, Bobby, if we stayed for the next year we couldn't do everything. Things are slowly getting under control in San Diego. We've both seen it, over the last few days. All this new help rushing in from all over.

Just because we can do it doesn't mean that we have to do it, or that it needs to be us doing it. You, especially, have more than done your part. Will you believe me that it's okay to stop if I make a point of telling you?

And it wasn't anything embarassing. Not really...

Time to lie around and do nothing is precisely what you need. Look, I'm the biggest hypocrite in the world, given that I'm popping stimulants and flying the Blackbird right back into the quake zone for the... okay, I've lost count, but even I know I'm only good for another day or two before I need some serious rest.

By the time you get yours, the relief agencies will have a handle on things. I suppose this is one of those do as I say, not as I do moments that you're going to give me a hard time about, but really, Bobby... it's okay. You can let go. You need to.

You want to tell me why you've gone monosyllabic on me?

I'm proud as hell of you, but I'm not the slightest bit sorry for shanghaing you back to Westchester. You need some rest. If we're still needed, once you've got it, you can come back. But I think we're getting towards the point where we'll all be able to come home.
