I should probably explain why it was a little strange to hear from -you-.

I will have to either find sheet music or remember the few things I can play without it, but if you will strongly consider an earring, I will agree to that.

Not that you ever have to ask for those sorts of things, Doug. I would .. I do not know how to word this without sounding silly or melodramatic.
