I thought it might be best to keep you in the loop. We're about to take the 'Bird out to the West Coast. Magneto's grabbed a newly manifested mutant in Mexico - the son of one of Nathan's old friends - and is apparently heading in the general direction of California.

The kid's got seismic powers. He's already been responsible for one earthquake in Mexico. I think we can generally agree that getting him away from Magneto promptly should be high on the to-do list.

Charles is tracking them in Cerebro. Hopefully by the time we get out there he'll have a better sense of where they are. He hasn't had much luck yet, which might mean that Magneto's trying to fly beneath the radar until he's ready to make his move. Which is probably a very bad sign.

I don't know that there's anything to be done from your end, although feel free to surprise me. I just wanted to let you know what was going on, in case California happens to slide into the ocean tomorrow.

I'm taking most of the team with me, but Charles and a skeleton home guard are at the mansion if you need to get in touch with us.

We've got some assets in California. I'll put the word out and see if we can't shake something loose. Magneto is about as low profile as a drag queen cabaret kickline, so if he's moving we might get a ping.
