Scott, I am all for taking that psychotic so-and-so (insert ungentlemanly language here) down like the rabid dog that he is. I'm thinking we need something like a plan, though. He may be an animal, but he's also cunning. I ain't half the tactician you are, Scott. Got any ideas?

And, even with my slightly biased view, given that two of his victims were people that I and my brother care very deeply about, we should probably involve the authorities and do this aboveboard. Gar, any thoughts here?

That was essentially what I had in mind, yes. I figured we'd hit him hard, since Cain's sort of like a tank brigade, and then turn him over to the FBI. As long as they have a good way to confine him. Dead cops is definitely NOT what I had in mind.

Um, silly question, but do we even have a clue where the hell this mook is? Or how he's moving? I mean, according the the files he's the less pleasent version of Wolverine, and I spent a solid six months getting 'killed' by him in every urban combat situation we ever ran.

I'm doubting he's hanging out in whatever coffee shop he handed Kyle's head to him still.

Well, he was at the rally, and I don't think it was because of any of us. He seemed a bit surprised to see us there. And he stayed in town after the rally until Kyle happened upon him, so I'm guessing he's here for a reason?

I can ask. I know that Sabertooth is wanted by the FBI, and the file has a 'do not attempt to apprehend without a full SWAT team and a tank brigade if possible'. If we happened to beat him into a temporary coma and a whole detail of the FBI just 'happened' to be along, it would likely cover it. After all, at the minimum he's wanted as a terrorist, which means that normal channels for juristiction get a little fuzzy.

Just make sure we've got a way to keep him down until they can secure him. Otherwise we're going to have a lot of dead cops on hand.

What I think we need to establish first is a tacit agreement with the Secret Service. We've been trying very hard not to step on their toes, and we need to make it clear to them before we take this any farther that we're in this, if we get into this, to help, rather than to take over.

I know this may seem like a less-than-significant concern at the moment but we've got to make sure we do this by the book. The stakes are entirely too high to be anything other than scrupulous.

So yes, this is me saying that I'm going to encourage Charles to make some phone calls.
