Subject: Alert.

Before he left, I made Kurt promise to check in every day. He missed yesterday and I haven't heard from him yet today. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, except he was going after Mystique, to talk to her about what happened to the pick up team.

I've tried a location spell, but I can't get anything specific. Last I heard from him, he was in Mexico City and he seemed to think he was getting somewhere.

I really don't like this.

Well, good to know he has in fact not learned any better from past acts of idiocy.

I've let Charles know. There's probably no need to panic just yet, Amanda; there could be a perfectly reasonable explanation, and when it comes right down to it, he's not going to find anything if he's not allowed to find it. Which can be either reassuring or not, I know.

I'm surprised he managed to get leave to go - his mother's involved in torturing X-Men and he suddenly needs private time? Made perfect sense to me that he was going to go look for her.

No panicking yet. Panicking is when I get on a plane to Mexico City and start tearing the place apart looking for him. Keep me upated if you hear anything? I'll do the same.

"Get leave to go"? This isn't the military, Amanda. If it was a mistake to trust that he wasn't going to go off like a loose cannon, then it's a mistake we'll deal with when we know he's okay.

Charles has been doing regular sweeps with Cerebro. We'll let you know if anything turns up
