So a friend of mine just called and asked me to check out a thing in Barrow, Alaska. That's where SHIELD sent me last year around this time-ish. He said I'd probably need a small team, so I figured I'd see if you guys were interested in tagging along. It's cold as balls, though, so be warned. I've got some extra awesome cold weather gear to share, if you want in. Let me know - I'm looking at heading northward tomorrow or the day after, depending. I've gotten word that the weather's not actually as bad as the NWA says it is, so.

Not a whole lotta deets on the mission yet - yes, a mission type thing. I know at least one group of SHIELD people fell off the radar, and it'd take something pretty serious to make that happen. SHIELD, however, can't be seen up there more than they already have been. Hendrickson went up with the group that they lost contact with. From the back channel chatter Tasha and I've managed to dig up, his last communication mentioned something about people acting really weird - not themselves.

It sucked ass. And then this medic dude made me drink chicken soup that tasted like chicken ass. Seriously, it had a taste like chicken shit smells. And yeah, uh, my parts'll come back factory original pretty much as long as I don't really fuck myself up. It itches like a bitch though.
Breathing thing only more limited b/c you gotta swim up to the surface, breathe for you, then get air for the other guy, then dive. For reals, no chocolate for me. Nothing with caffeine at all, though I can kinda manage that like super low caf white tea the Professor has sometimes. Not great with a bunch of sugar either - I dig a donut but legit I maybe can eat one and a half without feeling kinda sick.
