Formally requesting leave from the team for approximately four or five days from the twenty-first onward... no, I haven't had enough sleep to be formal.

Given that Jean seems to be handling things fine, would it be possible for me and Madelyn to take a few days off? Or perhaps just me, she hasn't let me know yet if she wants to come. It's my parents' anniversary on Saturday, and if I can be spared, I'd like to visit. I haven't seen them since before New Years, and they really want to meet Billy and my new lady friend. If they want to go, I'd like to take Kyle, Dani, and Forge, too. My folks want to meet them as well. (I forgot all about the anniversary until my computer reminded me, or I would have asked sooner.)

I've asked for leave from the team to go visit my parents this weekend. Would any of you like to come along? I promise you, my love... they're my parents. They *know* me. *g* They know from the gushing how much I care about you, but they won't take it *entirely* literally. They are, however, very glad that I'm happy, and eager to meet you. And they will love you, I promise, although they certainly won't expect you to be perfect.

Billy, on the other hand, him they'll credit perfection to. ;) As grandparents do.
