Hey, so sorry I missed Holi. Hope you had a good time - clean up must have been quick, I haven't seen a speck of dye anywhere!

You'll get a good laugh out of this. New kid at the mansion, basic shape changing powers. Turns out she's a bloody elemental magic user with no idea she had magic. So we have a mutant kid raised as a magic user, and a magic kid raised as a mutant. Either way, we've got another duckling.

I've got them mostly finished, I just need one final ingredient from the two of you. If you're amenable, I'd like to meet with each of you to get a bit of hair so I can weave it into the cord of the charm. It'll finalise the magic and ensure no one else can use them.

Please let me know if this is alright and, if so, when you'd find it most convenient to meet. (If you'd rather I not come near you with scissors, there's a variation of the charm that can use a drop of blood, but I thought offering the bloodless route first would be polite.)

So I debriefed Arthur yesterday on what he picked up with his psychometry from Death's armour. It was... rough. But I have a shit-tonne of leads to study up on and homework for all. :)

1) Clea - We're going to need to boost the protection wards on the mansion. The subject range is fine, but they need a lot more oomph. I'm still running low on magic and unless I'm mistaken Topaz is probably the same, so feel free to tap Pixie and Stephen for extra power. Maybe Illyana, if you can convince her to help. I'm not sure how much magic this version has, but it's worth a shot.

2) Stephen - I need two personal protection charms. One for Marius and one for Arthur, calibrated to protect against possession rituals, as powerful as you can make them. I can give you my list of magical item suppliers and an XF credit card for any bits and bobs you need to put them together, just keep the receipts.

3) Topaz - You and I will be ransacking Baby-Lon for any and all references to En-Sabeh-Nur/Son of the Morning Fire/Apocalypse. That includes re-creating the research we did on the Frankenberry version, since Xorn decided to poof away my notes when he did his patchwork job. The books from the Transia job might be worth checking too, but they'll need sorting first since I've been using them for something else and they're all over my suite.

Clea and Stephen, I'll have a version of my report for you to give to Wong and the High-and-Mighty One. They'll probably tell you that they already know what's going on, but it can't hurt to keep Kamar-Taj in the loop.

Let's get to work.
