Not too soon at all. And I am perfectly okay with things being official. I've kind of figured we were headed in that direction, but I was more or less leaving the officialness and words up to you, since I know you've been kind of nervous about it all.

Dinner sounds great. Perhaps a bit of a celebration? :)

Celebration sounds awesome. There's an all you can eat place that's just opened a few blocks away. I haven't made them cry yet, so we could go there.
