"Hey, Mr. Marko. Yeah, it's me, Amanda. Do I remember right that you wanted a word with Dr. Farouk? Oh, well hey... guess who I have in my apartment? It's not locked. Help yourself. Just watch the bloodstains, yeah?"

Since you are so insistent on knowing, Lady Braddock cut my ear with a throwing star while she wasn't herself. It's barely a scratch now and I don't feel the need to broadcast it. Satisfied?

I'm back. More or less. I think I should probably eat something. Can you come over?

I'm tired.

Why is my shower purple?

(Sent after Kyle encounters Jean here but not in time for This.)

Mr. Summers. Uh. Somehow I think I told Amnesia-Jean that you guys were married. Also your wife got turned into Debbie Gibson. That's pretty weird. She's supposed to go play DDR with me because I figure it'll keep her out of trouble. Or from finding more hairspray. Seriously, I think she needs hairspray rehab or something. Please don't kill me.

Cain is still making like a statue, and whatever's got him took out every single one of the telepaths who went in after it. Charles is catatonic, Jean thinks she's a preadolescent, Nathan took out a chunk of the mansion and the back lawn, and let's not talk about Jim.

We've got them all safely confined for the time being, but Moira's stumped. You need to talk to Strange and find out if he can tell us anything more.

There is an immediate threat to the mansion -- a psychic force is attempting to attack Cain and take him over. This is very, very, very bad beyond a friend being attacked. Stephen Strange has already encountered this creature and it was a near thing for him to get away.

We are on high alert over here.

To [Esteban Trotsky]
From [T. Spicer]

Mr. Trotsky, as I am sure Father Abraham had already explained to you, St. Ignatius Hospice enjoys some of the tightest security in the world. I understand your unease, given the somewhat unstable situation in Madripoor, but I can assure you that the Hospice is as secure as humanly possible.

Nevetheless, to respond to your actual query, yes - my company does have a relationship with the Hospice and if you insist, I am sure they would aquisce to your decision to bring us in as a compliment to their own protection detail.

I am flattered that your past experiences with us proved satisfactory, and that you feel confident in turning to us again.

Aegis Defense Services is always happy to assist our friends.

My regards,
Lt. Colonel Timothy Spicer, Scots Guards (ret), OBE.

From [Jean Pierre Roche]
To [Amahl Farouk]

My dear, Amahl, it was a great pleasure to hear from you - we were beginning to suspect that you had forgotten us completely.

It seems a shame that the motivation for the rekindling of our friendship is so troubling, but such is life, as they say.

I have made the inquiries (cautiously and through the third parties, as you requested) about the St. Ignatius Hospice.

It was an... interesting experience. If nothing else I am in your debt for making me aware of that establishment's existence.

But to more pressing matters - your information was substantially correct, and from what I have been able to gather this facility (both in physical and personnel resources) is more than equipped to undertake the procedure you described.

The recommendations from the former clients are almost universally laudatory, as well.

Would you like me press on with this endevour?

I strongly suggest that no time is to be wasted, if the situation is as grim as you alluded to. The facility is somewhat exclusive - and while I am not without some pull in our little backwater of a town, it will take a little time. And - while I hesitate to bring it up - considerable financial outlay.

Looking forward to hearing from you and give my best to Esteban,

Sincerely and always, your friend,
J P Roche.
