I've been informed that you recently had the unfortunate experience of believing yourself to be sixteen. I can't even imagine the unpleasantness this would have caused you. Though I regret not being a force of support for you the first time you lived through being sixteen, please know that I am here for support this time should you need it. Even if it just involves tagging along with you for some retail therapy and carrying your bags.

So Doug mentioned to me that "we all", which I'm taking to mean the Trenchcoats, spent a few days being mentally sixteen. He mentioned that he is not coping well with what happened and implied that Emma isn't either. So I just wanted to check in and see how you're feeling after being sixteen again. I seem to recall your teenage years weren't all glee clubs and winter carnivals either.

Hey Adri - sorry I didn't reply sooner, I've been laid up with a migraine the size of an elephant. Have I mentioned I hate telepathic whammies? I really, really do.
Other than that - and the mess sixteen year old Angie and me made of my hair - I'm doing all right. I came to terms with being a brat back then a long time ago. But I never say no to company.

Since Emma's not answering any of my calls, I find my evening is free! I just saw your journal post, did you want a hand dyeing your hair back to blonde, or are you sticking with the zebra streaks?

(I so need to stop hanging out with Doug, I'm turning into a nerd)

Yes, I'm going to do that. The doorman at her building confirmed that she's in her apartment and hasn't left in a couple days, and that no one's visited. At least she's at home, but I'm starting to get worried. I know now where she was when she was sixteen (at the time, when I was thirteen, all I knew was that she was in the asylum and then one day when she was sixteen she wasn't anymore, but I didn't find out until years later that she actually broke out,) but it just doesn't seem like Emma to be this affected by reliving her own past. It was awful, where she was, I know that, but Emma's never been one to lament what made her into what she is. I'm worried something else happened.
I'll be right over. And yes, you should definitely stop hanging out with Doug before you turn completely and irreversibly into a nerd!
