I actually slept. Thank you. And you were very good not to laugh at my repeated impression of a weeble-wobble.
We ought to do that more often - once I stop lurching around, I mean. I think it'd be good for both of us. Mutually instructive and all.

Heh. Good thing you can't see my face now. ;)
I'm all for it. And thank you right back - a new sparring partner is a good thing. Plus, I've already got a new move to try and Scott, soon as I get it down right.
You were maybe slow, but that'll change and even so I could see that you know a lot.

Date: 2004-06-20 05:24 pm (UTC)And 'maybe' slow? :) Lumbering was exactly the right word. No one my size is ever going to be really fast, but I've definitely lost a step over the last few months.

Date: 2004-06-20 11:04 pm (UTC)I really didn't want to use the word "shambling" see... ;) And I've got somewhat small and fast on my side, so better use it. You on the other hand, can do a lot more damage with one hit than I could, less I really got everything right on the first go.
But I can do the bouncing thing for sure. Heh! ;)

If you want, once we're a little more comfortable with each other (and I'm a little more nimble), we can throw powers into the mix too. That was the sort of training I specialized in back while I was still with my former employers.
And 'shambling' isn't so bad. ;)

I love singing, it's what I do best and I always look for ways to improve... Why would you not love what you've spent years and years perfecting into an art as well?
We're set for sparring. ;) In fact, I added you to the regular schedule in the practice room and all. Three times a week, light spars until your condition improves? Short sessions only to not wear you into the ground (old man) and then we can make them longer as your stamina returns to what it ought to be.
I think powers, much later on, would be good. Scott's done one thing that can't be changed - any ways to improve I can't help but want to look at. A lot. So yeah, new form of help? All good. And then some.
Well, it's better than 'staggering'. ;)
