Letter to Kitty Pryde

Heya kiddo!
Things are quiet, which is a nice change. I'm hoping it lasts a while. It's been ages since I've actually written a letter, did you know that? I used to write a lot to people when I was on tour, but it sort of stopped flat out when I had to go to the mansion. Maybe I should start up again... I wonder where some of the guys are, I know most are on tour with different singers, but still. Postcards would be nice. Very nice.
I'm tempted to send you a CD with one of the new tracks, just so you can make your friend wonder. I've been considering making a new album with some of the material from the past year. It'd be a good market test if nothing else to release on in the wild like that... Heck. I'll include one in the care package you're getting along with this letter and you can do what you want with it.
Miles is cooking. I kid you not, Lorna's been teaching him how to make cookies and supervising him. We're including some of the latest batch in the care package, so I hope you like them with M&Ms. I don't think the heat bothers him in the least, really - I'm guessing he was in Mexico long enough to get used to that sort of thing. The gardens are a good idea... I'll keep that in mind. Maybe we can take Jamie along at that, and some of the other kids if they feel up to it.
Oh! I'm including a neat little thing called a phone card in here. Feel free to use it to call, oh, I don't know... a certain farmboy that happens to have a green skinned room mate, maybe? ;)
(Damn. You know you're too used to bring online when you put emoticons in a hand written letter.)
Take care kiddo. And if you need a rescue, we're just a flight away.
~Alison
[The care package contains a cookie tin with M&M cookies inside, a new bikino along the same model Kitty bought the last time they went shopping, a silly t-shirt with the words "I am Kitty, Hear me Roar" on it, a CD with the track Alison mentioned, two calling cards (one from Lorna with the note "Not a hint, really, nope!" and one from Alison). The box also has airholes... for the stuffed armadillo inside.]
