Hope,
I know Jean made the announcement earlier, but I wanted to let you know I am all right, but have been advised by the professor not to engage in any psi-sessions for at least another two weeks. I'm not physically injured, but I will be avoiding powers-use for a while to aid the healing process and in the meantime it's unlikely I will be able to supply you with reliable emotional readings. However, I will be available for standard office hours by next Monday.
Good luck with your finals,
David Haller

Topaz,
I am awake and functional, but I have been advised not to engage in any empathic sessions with you for a week or so -- I took some damage that scrambled my alter states and the professor informs me my mind should be given time to rest and reset until everything settles again. It's possible any correspondence in the meantime is best kept to email since the damage seems to be grating to telepaths. I'm not sure how it would translate for you, but you have enough going on this week. I've already sent Hope an email letting her know I will be unavailable for any sessions, so you're off the hook there for a while.
Take care,
David Haller

Maddie,
Wanted to let you know I'm awake now, but ran into something nasty on the astral plane. I'll be fine, but I suggest you skip any visits for a week or so unless you're really interested in psychic injuries. Not that you can't take a look, but I'm told it's not pleasant to be around. Needless to say the professor has told me to suspend any telepathic lessons and powers-related activity in general until my brain isn't in danger of spraining itself, so we'll touch base in that area again in a week or so.
Good luck with your remaining tests and be kind to Jean's substitute test-administrator,
David Haller
