Hello, Meggan-
As you know, Topaz had something of an empathic overload last month. The professor and I have been working with her on her shielding, but we have come to realize that she may benefit from talking to someone whose powers are more directly in line with her own. You also have the distinction of being one of the few empaths associated with the school to have developed a healthy handling of the power. While there is some difference in your powers I think there is a lot Topaz might gain from talking to (and, if you feel up to it, working with) you.
Thank you, and let me know.

Hello, Mr. Haller,
Yes, I heard about it. That sounds like a good idea, and thank you. I am definitely up to working with her, and tutoring her in things that can help her empathically--whatever I'm able to do, if there's anything that might help her avoid any other big overloads in the future. I'll talk to her about it.

Thanks, Meggan. I will let the professor know. I suspect if you do any work with your powers he will want to monitor you remotely to ensure neither of you end up in any sort of feedback situation, as he does when I work with her, but the attention is very passive.
Thank you again. I appreciate any help you can give us.
