So. It's not a very interesting or fun story. But it is about a teenager who tried to help.

Her name was Sunshine and she lived in a time of great turmoil. One day, one of her friends got kidnapped and she felt like the adults weren't doing anything to save her.

So Sunshine, believing that she was strong enough, sneaked out to look for the bad guys herself because she desperately wanted to save her friend. But she screwed up and got herself captured by the bad guys too.

Her parents came to rescue her, but ended up getting killed to save her.

So you see, Molls. Sometimes wanting to help doesn't always have the intended outcome. Other people can get hurt too. I'm not saying you can't help, but maybe the way you were doing it was slightly wrong-ish, y'know? Cause you're unsquishable, but other people aren't. With great power comes great responsibility, Molly. There are consequences to stuff. If Fish-dude had died, trust me that it'll suck 500,000,000 times more than it does now.

The good news is that Sunshine eventually trained up and learned from the adults how to help people while protecting other good people as well. She became really good at it and people stopped treating her like a kid because she became an adult too. Even though she was still a teenager.

You can too, Squirt. You just gotta... I dunno. Look at it from a different perspective. Adults screw up all the time. So do teenagers. Most likely, your adults are trying to protect you from the screwing up and regretting part. I don't think they can protect you forever, but you gotta learn not to resent that because they're trying to help you.

I think it's awesome that you're trying to help. And your costume/armour was probably totally kickass. But I'm not in a position to allow or disallow you doing stuff, especially since people think I'm a kid too. So I can only say this: Helping people isn't as easy as you think it is. But if you train hard and learn how to do it... Well, they can't say forever that you don't know what you're doing if they're the ones training you how to do stuff.

Think about it. You're old enough to understand this. If you want hugs, girl scout cookies and a hat catalogue, I'm in my room eating ice cream.
