Theresa,
Remeber how I said I was thinking of retiring? Well, I've gone and done it, and Charles has been good enough to offer me a job teaching History at the school, so as soon as I'm done packing things up over here, I'm coming over to the States for the forseeable future - I think it'll be Tuesday or Wednesday next week that I arrive.
I'm sure this is a bit of a surprise to you, but I didn't want to say anything until I'd actaully managed to retire, and got all the arrangements made. I'm really hoping that we can put the past behind us actauly try to make a proper go of things this time, and learn to live with each other, but we can talk about everything more properly when I get over there.
Love,
Dad.
