Hey,
I'm not sure if you'll consider this good or bad news (you'll know what I feel about it already, I'm sure), but Moira just gave me those test results, and it's a false alarm. No baby. Something to do with all that travelling in Europe and too much stress.
I can't say I'm not relieved - it's way too much the wrong time for me to be even thinking about something like that. I hope you don't think I'm being selfish, but that's the way it is.
If you're still talking to me, would you like to come out tonight? I have a surprise for you, one I think you'll like, and I think we both deserve a treat, and you sure as hell need a break away from this place and from these pillocks.

I am quite honestly torn.

On the one hand, I am very relieved that we don't have that burden. On the other hand ... the idea had some appeal - never mind.
I am still talking to you. It has been a rough few days on me - my concentration is shit, and my shields look like Swiss cheese. A break would be welcome.
What did you have in mind? I'm fairly sure that I'm not up for live punk or anything like that.
Manuel
I thought you would be.
Date: 2004-07-16 01:34 pm (UTC)Besides, I really can't see myself as someone's _mother_, let alone s new generation of de la Rochas. Haven't got the breeding.
And no, no punk. Very relaxing, not too many people, and those who would be there should be all very bland and relaxed. Trust me, you'll enjoy it. And it's my treat, since I got paid for my stablework today - including what they owed me from before Europe.

*nods*

One thing at a time. The story of my life in 2004.
As far as the breeding goes - no, I suppose not.
Wait - not punk, surrounded by bland and relaxed people? What _are_ you scheming?
Manuel
You and me both
Date: 2004-07-16 01:43 pm (UTC)Definitely not. I know what I am, and it isn't that.
*evil grin* Wouldn't be a surprise if I told. You'll have to wait until tonight. Nothing terribly dressy that doesn't mind possible grass stains.
A.
Grass stains?
Date: 2004-07-16 01:46 pm (UTC)Not that I'm complaining, oh no? Do you have a location in mind? Should I break out a Basque cider bottle and a few glasses, maybe a hunk of cheese and some good bread?
Manuel
Well and truly had enough
Date: 2004-07-16 01:49 pm (UTC)Food and drink sound great. Perfect, in fact.
A.
A bottle of cider and bread and cheese
Date: 2004-07-16 01:52 pm (UTC)Like I said, my shields are rather poor right now - and I am curious to see what you have planned.
