Remember when I told you about my little powers mishap with QQ... I have been doing work on my power and I think I am at the point where I would like to try to see if I can do the same thing as what happened with Quentin. I know both of you were thinking if you wanted to help me with this and I wanted to check if you were still up for this. 

I have asked Dr. Grey if she would act like a spotter in case anything does not go as I hope.

Dear Jean, 

Again, thank you much for helping back when everything happened with Quentin. 

Over the past few weeks I have been very carefully exploring the lower parts of the astral plane and I have gotten fairly comfortable there. I have also been working on my visualizations from the things that floated up from when I got stuck with Quentin. I think I am at a point where I want to start training with 'riding' other people. 

I have asked Sue and Topaz if they would be willing to let me do so and both agreed to consider it. But I think it would not be a good idea to just started experimenting and I was wondering if you would be willing to act as a spotter in case something unplanned does happen. 

I hope you would be willing to consider this.

I'm always down to help out. Just...promise you'll be careful. I remember playing with my powers and ending up trapped beneath tons of earth and let me tell you that was not fun.

Getting stuck in Quentin's head was not pleasant. But that is exactly why it is so important to learn to control this aspect of my powers, so I do not end up doing this accidentally.

And it is why I asked Jean to act as a spotter.
