Hello! I know that none of us are well-acquainted but with the art show in the District coming up, I would like to paint a portrait of you for display/sale at the show.

I call it "Mutants Are Normal". Sounds better in Russian, I promise. But what my thought was is to show mutants with visible mutations of one level or another doing normal things. Take the fear away, maybe even a little bit, of the Other.

All that I will need is a few hours of your time to get the initial pose set up, then I'll take care of the rest. For own safety I can keep your face obscured if desired.

I will be attending as Colossus, to practice what I am asking of all of you. Also makes it easier for hooligans to stay away when unfriendly metal Russian fellow is there to scowl at them, no?

You can look pretty nonhuman when you want to be. You're also a student. Mutants At School, paint you studying for exam? Show what makes you different, but also what makes you just like other people?

So sorry, I just saw this. I really like the idea of having people with visible mutations just being people, so I’m sold. My markings are a bit known still I think, but I would definitely appreciate having my face obscure.

What did you have in mind?

I'm glad. And yes, we can obscure your face. No problem. I've got a little programming to do but you'll need a typical surfing costume and a board. I trust you have such a thing available to you?
