Subject: Updates & A Question
Hey all -
Feel free to loop in others if you think they'll have input. This email's just to coordinate a bit. As you all know, I worked collections and distribution for the Underground in Ireland before I left for uni, after which point I focused on my studies and building up contacts with similarly minded people. Those contacts have come in handy over the years and have more recently been a great boon when it comes to getting necessities for the Underground here in the States.
That said, I had Pyotr assist me with a drop off this past weekend and all went according to plan, but I'd like to get input from others regarding the types of things I ought to be attempting to collect for people here. District X has benefited to a degree, but with the success of the Community Centre, I hope to acquire things of more immediate use.
To that end, I've been attempting to find sellers of things like school books and other educational materials with the idea of asking for those things using the Church as a cover. Father Bowen here in Salem Centre has been kind enough to agree already, with the understanding that monetary donations to his church will replace the physical ones he gives us, but if there are other needs, please tell me. Food will always be a focus, obviously, but bottled water has also come on the radar as something increasingly necessary.
Most of what I've been handling lately is winter clothing, appliances, electronics, and, to a small degree, non-lethal weapons (beanbag guns, tasers, etc).
Oh, also - Sooraya, I've had several contacts put together what they know about various mutant powers. Some of the information is quite detailed, some of it's not. I've left it on your desk. If you narrow down specific details or types of mutations that you'd like me to try to get others to help with, I'm happy to continue that.

Thanks for the info about the powers, Terry. I'll look forward to seeing what you've found!
The school materials idea is interesting. I've been able to source a fair amount of the regular stuff and for both natural and social science for the lower grades I've a few decent courses at hand on a more improvised scale. You'd be surprised what's available for free online as well for the basic stuff.
What would be helpful are more practical things, like labkits, especially for the kids who still mostly in hiding. Those are pretty expensive and not always reusable. Or maybe some materials for the upper levels or more unusual area's of studies that are harder to find?
