Subject: Return of property
Professor Xavier,
I am aware that my son, Shinobi, is no longer a resident of your estate, nor is he affiliating himself with your school. When he chose to reside with you, I permitted it out of a father's intent to let his son learn by making mistakes. However, Shinobi has chosen to distance himself further, and has taken with him certain items that I consider heirlooms to the Shaw family. As my son does not seem to value his birth family, I have made the painful yet inevitable choice to demand that these things - sentimental items, mind you - be returned. If Shinobi has not left them in your care, I expect your cooperation in providing me with his location and a means by which to contact him.
I await your reply and acquiescence.
Sincerely,
Sebastian Shaw
