Why in the hell did I receive an e-mail from some Marius Laverne saying that you handed over the clinic project to his company. Now, I'm hoping that this guy is just trying to fleece us and that you didn't make this decision without telling me and just trashing all this work I've been doing. So, I'll keep on in this email with that in mind.

There's this Marius Laverne guy representing a Laverne-St. Croix Foundation that wants us to hand over the clinic project. How're you wanting me to proceed? Tell him firmly but politely no? Shedule a meeting with him to talk about a joint project? Let me know.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. Marius wants the project, so he can have it. I just get to smile and shake hands and talk about how life is great when you have rich friends or some shit. Nothing formal has to be done, this is a gentleman's deal.

And who said anything about trashing your work? You'll hand it over to him, and help him out if need be. If he wants the work, and I want the credit, who am I to say no?

We made plans the other day, and then played squash. It was a tough match. Hands were shaken, billfolds were fanned, you know how it goes.

Wait, do you know how to play squash? We should fit that into your schedule.

And no. I don't play squash. Squash is a vegetable as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, that's a good point. I could. I probably won't but I could. Set something up with Marius. I'd say I'd be there but I hasve no idea what's going on so I'd just be eye candy.

You need to learn a sport. IT's important for networking. Something manly. Golf is boring but I can support that if you want.

And I thank you for the offer but I'm not planning on staying up North long enough to need to network with a sport and I doubt that golf or squash would do me much good in Louisville or Nashville.
