Marie-Ange,
Piotr is sick, and has asked me to take over his class for a couple of days until he gets better. According to him, you students already know what you're doing, so it shouldn't be too hard for me. However, I haven't taken an art class since the eighth grade, and from what I hear, you're quite skilled. Could I ask you to help me instruct and supervise the class for the next few days? If you can't, that's all right, but please consider it. Thanks.

Sure, I suppose. I've helped Ms. Frost a bit with grading French papers. Did Piotr leave any notes on what he wanted to cover?

Angie,
Thanks so much for agreeing to help. Let's see. Looks like you guys started on pastels today, and should be working on it for the next few days. After that, it's water colors, looks like, but I think (I hope) Piotr will be better by that time.

Warren,
You're welcome. Pastels should be fairly easy. If Piotr isn't better by the time we do water colours I'm hiding under my desk though.
