Mr. Beaubier,
Thank you for your help today. I'm afraid I have to impose a bit more. (Which I hate to do, and will withdraw if you'd prefer.) My sister and Alex will be going to the HeliX function this weekend, and they both need proper attire, too. Is there anything you could do for them?
I hate asking this, but I have a Plan, and it requires Alex going to the party. Thank you.

Alison,
I don't know what it's been like living with Lorna the past couple of weeks, but Alex has been a mess. My own opinions aside, I know that he loves her and wants her back, and I want that too. I have a Plan, and while I can execute it on my own, I'd like your approval and advice so I can play damage control.
Alex and Lorna need to talk, and I think that the (what I hope will be) semi-romantic atmosphere of a formal function will get them to speak without resorting to insults and blowing things up. And the only way I could get Alex to come is by asking Leyu to invite him, which she did, and he agreed.
Do you think this has any chance of success?

They're both idiots. Someone had to say it. I said it to Lorna already anyway. :p
And yeah, I think you're right. Not sure the function will be the best format for it, but hey, better now than never, right? If we keep waiting fo the "right" moment, it'll never come. Besides, we have to try and do something. Though we'll have to keep Alex from blowing up at her date or something.
Mmmm. You steal Leyu, I steal her date during a slow dance at one point, we make sure they end up together or something?
...
Please tell me you have a better idea.

Although I can't but agree with him about wanting to blow up that guy, given what Alex has told me. (A biased view, yes, but one I'm ready to accept.)
And no, I'm stumped. I was just going to kill Lorna's date and force her and Alex on each other, but your idea is a bit better than that.

Date: 2004-09-23 12:45 pm (UTC)It kinda of is, in a really pulling at hair beat head on the walls sorta thing for the roommates in question. Has he been moping and muttering things whenever he thinks you're not looking?
And from what I heard, Brent thinks well of Lorna. Well enough to be defensive of her - so I have to say I like him. (And hey - just as biased a view.)
Well. I think Shinobi might be irked if you kill someone at his party. We'll go with plan number one for now (the stealing their dates plan) and hope we come up with better before the party. Aie.
