Even though you probably won't read this? I just wanted to say thanks. I know words on a screen ain't really good at showing no sarcasm, but I mean it. Thanks for keeping the place safe, for the scrying and what all. Because fuck knows I never could get the hang of that, and I'm not in the shape to manage it any way. I know how hard it is, and it's appreciated.

Well, someone had to, and since I don't much fancy the thought of demons tromping around killing people (contrary to popular opinion, dead children on Hallowe'en is less than my ideal world) I thought it might as well be me. Besides, it's not that hard. I mean, when you have to keep an eye on old skyclad witches to make sure they're not summoning demons, sure, it's a bit of an exercise in keeping the scrying above shoulder level.
Which, actually, I am never doing again. So don't make any enemies of skyclad witches or you're on your bloody own.

I figured once you saw who the email was from you'd bin it unread. I'm glad you didn't.
I don't think we'll have any more demon visits, tho' yeah, wasn't expecting any, so my word's about as reliable as... well, reliable as something that isn't really reliable. Apparently this one was a present from someone with a grudge - I have no bloody idea how the person involved got what he needed to pull this off, but somehow he did. Any way, there's no more demons with a personal claim on me. Oh, and if in your magical-supply travels you come across a bloke called Patches? Avoid him. That's not a threat or anything, just a word of advice. Bastard's bad news.
I had an idea, as for why it was that demon-slaying sword of yours didn't work. The thing was tied into the binding spell I
havehad on me, and it was using that as an anchor. If you'd hit me with the sword, it might have done something, but as that probably would have offed me as well, I'm sort of glad you didn't. How the hell Jubilee's fireworks did the trick when Alex's didn't is beyond me.I saw the thread in your journal, about still being hurt. I wish I could help with that, but it's probably not the best idea, given two different sorts of magic and all. If you still need them, I have those counterspelled gloves still. I can leave them with Kitty, it you like.
Considering the only skyclad witches I know are the coven in England, and Pete's sister is one of them, no, won't be making any enemies like that. Besides, I've been to the odd Spring Rite - some people should never be seen starkers. Ever.
