You probably won't like me asking this, but could one or both of you drop down to medlab and visit Manny at some stage? He's bored out of his skull, and lonely with it too - the only person to visit has been me, and I know it's bothering him. He counts you two as the only other people approximating friends he has here now Shinobi's gone, and I'm worried about him.

Kit, I'd ask you to ask a Certain Suitemate of yours to lay off visiting until he's fit - he's in a lot of pain and I don't want her upsetting him. Unless he says otherwise, of course.

I can, I suppose. I was not under the impression Manuel considered me a friend, however. Usually he and I just argue and he dismisses my opinion.

Well, to put it in his words, 'on a good day you're closest to friends' that he has. You and Kit and Lee. Which is why I'm worried, and why I'm asking - he's stuck down there on his own and no-one's even bothered to ask how he is. And yes, I know, it's his own fault, but you know what? Everyone else gets a chance here. Even Le Beau, and he came here to kill us all. And Lee's not going to be turfed out on her ear, even after what she's done. It's not fair, everyone else gets to make mistakes and try and make up for them, but not him. And he _is_ trying - he even went and asked the X geezer for help and you know what he's like about owing debts to people.

Gah, sorry, venting at you. I went and talked to Le Beau on Wednesday and got another round of 'Manuel's a monster' and I'm getting bloody sick of it. That andthe fact no-one seems to think I actually know right from wrong. :P

I imagine I would be the exception to that rule. I am more inclined to give Manuel a chance than Jubilee or Remy.

I had assumed if Manuel wanted visitors, he would ask - he has not been afraid to ask for them before, and generally when he does not want them, he just does not ask for them.

I can go down and say hello and see how he is, if it would help. I am not sure it -will-, which is what worries me. He and I argue often enough that I have concern about making him worse.

He would ask, if he thought anyone would. The thing is, he's made enough attempts and had them mostly thrown back in his face that he won't ask again - it's too much for that pride of his. Hell, it'd be too much for mine - people have made it pretty clear what they think of him, and he doesn't know how to fix things.
