thecatsmeow: Hey, Jubes, how goes?
PartyGirlLee: Gah, study is eating my brain. You?
thecatsmeow: not so bad. Am worried 'bout Paige, though
thecatsmeow: (what're you studying that's eating you up so bad? is this still just x-stuff?)
PartyGirlLee: You and me both, Kit. She's totally in denial about whatever it is that's driving her. An well, I'm not subtle lass, so I hadn't wanted to push her. Talked to Dr McCoy though, he says the teachers are gettin' worried too.
(History class, trying to get all the facts crammed into my head for the final exam. Too many damn wars. Although x-stuff on top of it all now. Finished an account of a German sargeant during WWI the other day.)
thecatsmeow: Understandably. I mean, she flipped at -Jay- of all people. Also, am I the only one who wants to sit them all down with a family counselor? Seriously, Sam's a -great- guy. He was totally there for us when we needed him, and I know he's still kinda hung up on Al, and I just feel -so- bad for him.
thecatsmeow: (oh, ick. Hate history so bad. Also hate the Germans when it comes to world wars, but that's another story)
PartyGirlLee: Gods, yes. Still not sure why she's so hating on Sam. Has to be some deep dark sibling thing, I think. May ask her about it when she's not all 'la,la,la' about everything. You notice how Jay has been doing the avoiding thing too? Makes me wonder if it ain't a family trait. Been racking my brain trying to figure out a way to do an intervention or something with her.
(I think you'd have a reason to hate the Germans when it comes to wars. They were absolute bastards. Although, reading the personal account. Sometimes I wonder how much the soldier on the front knew about what was going on. This guy didn't seem like a monster, ya know?)
thecatsmeow: I'd be for the intervention, except I think she'd go crazy-Paige on us both and, I don't know, never speak to me again. Which is killing me, cause I really want to help her, but even admitting you think she needs help seems like it some sort of insult worthy of Ultimate Pain. But yeah, think you're onto something with Guthries and the Not-Dealing.
thecatsmeow: (yeah, I know. But it's hard to know that and then also know that some of them -were- just monsters. Because then, did the not-monsters not -know- that there were complete shit-bags about, or did they just not want to face up to it?)
PartyGirlLee: Yeah, I know. I live in the same room as her and it's sooo hard not to comment when she's waking up all red eyed and I know somethings wrong and I just...Gah. An she's not doin' stuff we used to, ya know? How do you tell someone you miss having them around when they're right there without sounding weird?
Wonder if Forge is feeling the same way about Jay as we're feeling about Paige? We could form a support group 'Suitemates of Guthries' or SOG for short
(I think maybe it's a little of both. People not wanting to admit to themselves that things are going horribly wrong when it all looks perfectly fine on top. And people that just didn't know.)
thecatsmeow: Seriously, we have the -strangest- clubs here at Xavier's... And we -totally- need to form this club. Think Amanda needs in on it, too. And, it's just, Gah! Like, I saw Paige's post about the wedding and outfits and all and she's like "not gonna wear a dress, you can try if you want but it ain't happening" and I'm all "wah!" Cause, seriously, teasing her about stuff like that is fun, but only when she's having fun with it to, and is willing to, you know, not go batshit when you say she looks good in a dress or something.
thecatsmeow: (Ok, and see, now that sounds like you're talking about Paige, too, which is just really worrying. But I know what you mean. Nobody wants to admit that there are really fucked up people in the world, but that means nobody really stops to deal with it, either.)
PartyGirlLee: Yes. Thank God I clarified the Southern accent thing. I totally didn't realise she'd think I was talking about her, which was stupid of me, really. You know, I just thought of people that have it worse though. Mentioned I said something to Dr McCoy and he said they were aware of things. Well, can't imagine what it must be like for the teachers, havin' to see her goin' downhill and knowin' they have to take things delicately with her.
Remind me to e-mail Forge and Amanda about it. If we can't actually do anything, least we can support each other and talk about it.
(Scary, ain't it?)
thecatsmeow: -nod- the teachers put up with so much from us all. they totally deserve an award or something. A day off. I don't know. And will do. Maybe they'd have some ideas, too, cause I know Forge was/is friends with Paige, except she's bit (bitten?) his head off on the journals couple times. And, I mean, so have I, but I never -meant- it.
thecatsmeow: (very)
PartyGirlLee: You know, that totally gives me an idea. Want to plot a 'teachers day off' with me? I'm sure we could get others in on it. But we'd have to be really sneaky, since it'd need to be a surprise.
E-mailing them now. Anyone else you think we can add? There's this deserted classroom Amanda hid in once we could use as a meeting area.
(You ever wish you were one of the little kids again? That way everything would totally be out of your hands.)
thecatsmeow: Sneaky we can do. -g- Bet they'll go into shock if we're all sneaky like and it's cause we're doing something good and nice. Heh.
thecatsmeow: Well, Sarah was Paige's other roommate, but she's gone
thecatsmeow: don't know if Clarice or Terry really have dealt with her that much. Know 'Yana doesn't usually
thecatsmeow: 'cept, Terry's a friend of Jay's, so add her
thecatsmeow: oh, well, if we're wanting to do something nice we might ping Angelo, too.
thecatsmeow: And how sad is it that I don't even know who Sam's friends are these days?
thecatsmeow: I mean, Kurt I guess...
thecatsmeow: (yes. Oh my gods, yes. Except that I was pretty lonely as a kid)
PartyGirlLee: Right, we have the beginnings of a list. The others might be able to suggest people too. Only, we seriously gotta be quiet about this, cause bad things if the Guthrie's find out about it.
And totally. Hmm, exams are coming up. Not sure the teachers would take a day off now I think of it. But! Breakfast in bed? For all of them? We could get Dani in on it and Jamie and you and me and who else can cook or carry things?
(I think I mainly think it when Scott hands me more reading assignments. I'm up to the Boar war right now and a description of all the battles and the tactics used.)
thecatsmeow: Oh yeah, that'd be a massive DOOOOM, right there. Breakfast in bed would be totally cool (although, um, I'm -so- not delivering to Al and Mr. al-Rashid's room. Did I ever tell you about the time Lockheed went through there window on accident and we, um, interrupted... So much dooooooom). We'd have to be -way- sneaky, though, cause seriously, half the teachers are up before the sun, including Lorna and she'd totally catch wind of anything in the kitchen.
thecatsmeow: (Ok, I don't even know when or where teh Boar war was)
PartyGirlLee: *ponders* Lock them in their rooms? I wonder if we could get Mr Marko involved. Not that he doesn't involve Breakfast in bed as well but we could surprise him in some other way, maybe? We're gonna need at least one adult in on this, I think. Remy, maybe? He's sneaky.
(1899 till 1902. It was fought in South Africa and wow, I misspelled it. It's Boer war. Otherwise known as the Anglo-Boer War...Okay, it's scaring me that I'm learning all these things. By the time I'm finished I'm gonna be able to quote troop movements.)
thecatsmeow: Remy is, indeed, highly sneaky. Guess it's a question of whether or not we want to just hit the teachers or all the staff. Cause Remy and Jake aren't teachers, really, but giving Jake food is always good. I think locking them up would be a -bad- idea, but we could probably do, like, door to door service of coffee and donuts, or something. I'll put something up on x_students, see if anybody's got any ideas (don't -think- they've gotten around to adding Ms. Maximoff to that one, as our new counselor)
thecatsmeow: (very alarming, yes. But also cool in some ways )
PartyGirlLee: Ooo, we could do little wheely trays outside each adults door with breakfast and like coffee or tea depending. Think we should hit all the adults, mostly cause they all deserve it considering everything that's happened lately. But yes, post on x_students would do well.
(It is pretty cool. I mean, much as it's taking a lot of reading I'm learning so much about how different troop placements affect things and what decisions changed battles and such. That can only help the xstuff.)
thecatsmeow: Wheee, wheely-trays. Think I saw a couple up in the attic the last time I was up there. (Also, wheely-trays makes me think of the Wheelers from Return to Oz. Haven't seen that movie in -so- long).
thecatsmeow: (god, tactics training. Ouch. Good luck, babe.)
PartyGirlLee: You know, I just realised we've got Jamie. He could probably get all the trays in place quickly if we woke up early enough. So we'd totally not have to have too many people up and around and drawing suspicion.
thecatsmeow: -snerk- We -always- have Jamie. -g- But yes, he is highly talented in both sneaky and coordinated troop movements
PartyGirlLee:Gah, have to go, Dude. Classtime. Will e-mail people on SOG when I get back, and if you can do the x-students post we'll get that rolling too.
(You know, having something to do seems to make it better, even if it isn't helping her directly, ya know?)
thecatsmeow: Good luck with class. I've got some labwork I've got to do, but I'll stick something up on x_students, no prob.
thecatsmeow: (yes, totally. And maybe we can come up with something that -will- help)
PartyGirlLee: *nods* Don't blow up anything I wouldn't! ;-)
(I hope so. I really do. Want my friend back.)
thecatsmeow: -laugh- Hey, I'm physics, not chem. We very rarely blow stuff up. Although when we do it's impressive.
thecatsmeow: (agreed)
