Subject: Amber Hunt

A few years ago, I had a young woman, Amber Hunt, as a patient on Muir Island. She's a battery, basically - absorbs and channels most forms of energy. When she first came to me, she was unable to control her powers.

Apparently, something's recently jumpstarted her power to a new level and she's once more unable to control it. I received a call from her this morning. She's at her grandfather's cabin in the woods and I promised her I would arrange a pick up to take her back to Muir Island, as a commercial flight is not an option, for obvious reasons.

I've attached information about her powers and her location to the email. I am obviously not going to be able to go until this weekend, and I'll need Jean or Maddie to clear me for the flight.

But she's scared and she's in pain and Muir is the best place for her right now. I'm emailing Henry and Forge to get them to build a containment unit for the trip - from the sounds of it, her powers are to the point where she'll need one.

To the two masterminds of the mansion (two of several),

I need a containment unit built for the 'Bird. We have an emergency pick-up of an old patient of mine (I don't think you ever met Amber, Henry) whose energy-absorption powers have gotten out of control again.

I've attached a file of her power specs for the both of you and I hate to rush you but it's needed rather quickly.

Moira,

Thank you for the additional information in the files, and yes I do believe we'll very much be wanting that containment unit before we transport Amber to Muir Island.

I'll talk to Kurt now to let him know of what's coming up and pass the files along to him so that he can get updated on Amber's situation as well. We'll also start working out the best course from the cabin to the island so that we can get her there in an optimal time frame.

Two hours, access to the leftover parts from when the Professor and I worked on the Box, and uninterrupted time in the lab and I can have you a working model that'll run off the Blackbird's internal power grid.

However, if you want it that quick, you're going to need a certified genius around to make field adjustments if anything goes wrong.

So can I go? Huh?
