Normally, I'd come and find you to ask you what the hell last night was all about.....

And normally, I wouldn't have waited and I'd be pounding down your door instead of writing this ruddy email.

But things aren't normal between us and I no longer have the right to interfere in what is between you and yours. Unfortunately last night, out of exhaustion, overwork, or some other random reason, I intercepted a dream nightmare from something that happened last year.

I was hoping you'd feel up to a chat some tea. I've also been meaning to give you something that has been sitting in my quarters for an age.

If it helps, I'm free for most of the morning.

I... you.. . gah. I suck at replying to that just now. Yes, had a nightmare. And tea is good. I can't promise being all chatty girl, but this morning was good, as compared to last night. And I'm sorry you had to get a glimpse of that. The nightmares from last year don't... often flare up, nowadays.

Late now though. How's your schedule this afternoon? Or should I just lead an invasion on your office and ask once I'm already there?

PS - I'm glad you emailed. Nearly gave me a heart attack when I realized someone was on the fringes of that, but I'm glad you emailed.

You don't have to reply or say anything. Simply come by the office when you can. I'm still here and will be for most of the afternoon. Shortly, I'll go brew a pot and hopefully it'll still be warm by the time you manage it down here.

(P.S. I couldn't do anything but let you know. Peculiar, that I would get whiff of that now, tho.)
